On behalf of the Strathnairn News Editorial Committee, I am very disappointed to inform you that unfortunately there will be no August issue of Strathnairn News.
Following an application for funding to the Strathnairn Community Benefit Fund in May to help cover the costs of printing and distribution of the newsletter for a full year, and an inquorate SCBF Board meeting in June, we are still awaiting a decision. As their next Board meeting is not scheduled until the 25th July (which is 4 days before the next proposed newsletter deadline of 29th July), the Editorial Committee feel that due to the current uncertainty of our financial situation it would be unwise to go ahead.
