Delivery of 2 Transformers to Farigaig Substation
The units will be delivered over two dates, Monday 29 February and Thursday 3 March.
The loads will travel between the A9, at its junction with the B851, and the new Farigaig substation located on the B862.
- 0900 Delivery leaves A9 onto B851 (Rolling Road closure required)
- 1030-1100 Arrive at B851 junction with B862 (Calanour Junction)
- 1100-1200 Calanour junction to Farigaig Substation (Rolling Road closure required)
The transformers [146 Tonne SGT units] will be delivered using a specialist trailer and tractor unit totalling 36 meters in length, due to the abnormal size the operation will be under the guidance and supervision of Police Scotland.
