B851 - Variable Message Signs
SSE have also obtained permission from Highland Council to erect Variable Message Signs for the turbine deliveries on the B851.
The signs are controlled from a mobile telephone signal so the exact location will depend upon this signal and keeping the traffic safe.
The purpose of the sign is to give traffic real time information on the movement of the turbine sections being delivered under Police escort. They should be in place by the end of w/c 23 May 2016.
