Dunmaglass wind farm Trial Run - Turbine Delivery

SSE Renewables will be undertaking a trial run of the transport route for Dunmaglass wind farm on Tuesday 10 December starting at approximately 9.30am.
The trial run will travel from Inverness Harbour to Longman Roundabout and on to the A9. It will then travel along the B851 to the site entrance. The trial run involves running a vehicle with an extendable trailer that simulates the longest turbine component that will be delivered to site.
We envisage the trial run will take no longer than 3 hours. It should be noted that a police escort will support the trial run and that no diversion will be required. Access will be maintained for emergency vehicles at all times and vehicles will be able to pass the trial run vehicle at a number of points along the route.
