Following the note we sent out on Friday the Police have now confirmed that they are able to escort the undelivered turbine components to site this week. The turbine blades and tower sections will be escorted by the police and they will leave from Inverness Harbour and turn on to the A9 via the Longman Roundabout. They will then turn off the A9 on to the B851 and travel to the site entrance. The turbine deliveries are being transported by road from Inverness with a police escort.
The police escort will ensure the safe movement of these large delivery vehicles throughout their journey.
